This family-owned and operated eatery opened its doors in Northville during the summer of 2008 with the goal of becoming part of a real Community, and by all accounts, has succeeded in doing exactly that.  In fact, it could be said that they've ingrained themselves in the community known as the Detroit Metro Area, since people come from as far as Lansing, Holly, Grosse Isle, and even Mt. Pleasant to sample the Raw and vegan dishes at the Red Pepper Deli, and with good reason.

The Red Pepper Deli has a fun and upbeat atmosphere, and the staff has a great wealth of knowledge about all things vegan.  Not sure what to order, or new to vegetarian cuisine?  They're more than happy to lend a hand to explain the ins and outs of their entire menu if need be.

They offer a wide variety of delicious sandwiches, wraps, soups, and salads as well as a broad range of natural beverages made up of mixed fruits and vegetables.  All of the items on the menu, including their weekly specials, are meatless and prepared from fresh ingredients, all of them organic.  The Raw food dishes (food cooked or prepared at under 105 degrees), gluten-free choices, and full-fledged vegan offerings are super fresh and often times "Cut To Order".

The folks at the Red Pepper Deli also offer healthy, natural desserts and beverages that you won't find anywhere else.  For example, their Strawberry Cheesecake is entirely comprised of cashews and raw vegan ingredients, and absolutely no dairy products. Try some, and see if YOU can tell if it's not made with cream cheese!

News

We started our new menu this week and we started hot soup last week. Because of these things we will not be running specials for two weeks until we get used to things. We added some new wraps, sandwiches, salads and we even added a pizza and pasta. Please leave us comments on the new items when you see them on the new menu.

Also don't forget about our Healthy Jones event and our anniversary dinner. They are both filling up.
